Summer of Mindfulness

Summer of Mindfulness – Yoga Workshops Series

summer mindfulnessSummer is arrived, and with it, the heat we miss so much in winter time. But the heat may be an additional challenge to our yoga practice. Casa Pantha prepared a few workshops to help you cope with the hot summer weather and keep up with your practice. Mindfulness and Ayurveda will help us to regulate all aspects of the physical and spiritual elements of our life on the mat, and out.

The first workshop – Earth, Wind & Fire – will show you how to adapt your practice to the heat, and enjoy both…

The second one – Twist & Shout – will go deeper into the practice, and will focus on a healthy spine & major joints.

Then, we will see the world through another perspective, with our Upside Down Workshop.

The fourth workshop will open our heart and mind as we focus on Back Bending to Forward Thinking.

Finally, as we learned a lot through the series, we will reflect on ourselves, with the last one of the series, Svadhyaya (Self-Study).

Location: Casa Pantha, Velez-Malaga (Spain)

When: We will start at 9am, and the workshop lasts ~ 2 hours.

Your host:

David is a yoga therapist and Ayurveda practitioner, trained in India and Turkey (RYT 500). Through years of practice and study of many different styles of Yoga, he has developed a unique practice, with a simple and effective method of teaching, with an emphasis on adequate body alignment & breathing. Spiritually inspired by the wisdom and compassion of the Buddhist tradition, each practice becomes a holistic journey that cultivates awareness & acceptance, authentic and universal values that give us the opportunity to discover who we really are, and to find our true place.

Because David’s style is enhanced by his experience as an Ayurveda Practitioner and Yoga therapist, all classes, from a restorative/relaxing approach to the more powerful and challenging practice, are designed according to the students’ levels and needs (especially during Yoga Therapy individual sessions).
